Sunday Services

Sunday Mornings

10.30am

The service generally starts with some singing. We sing a range of traditional hymns and more modern worship songs. Singing is a really good way to prepare our hearts to listen to God’s word. If you don’t know the songs, don’t worry, we won’t make you sing!

After this, the children will have a short talk about the Bible and hear how they can apply it to their own lives. This is usually followed up with a song that involves some actions (of course these are optional!)

Following this, the children have their own classes to attend where they can learn more about God with activities suited to them, while the adults enjoy their own teaching from the Bible.

Finally, we have tea and coffee together and a chat so we can get to know each other better.

Sunday Evenings

6.00pm

Sunday evening services are similar to the morning ones but the children stay with us for the whole service, or they can go out to the creche area with an adult. We don't mind them making a little noise; it's perfectly normal!

Pastor Tim usually speaks at both our Sunday services, although occasionally visitors from other churches will come and lead our worship.

We have tea and coffee again after the evening service which is a lovely time to have interesting conversations about what we have learned or about the week ahead.

We don't take an offering during our services but there are boxes at all four of the entrance/exit doors in which you can place your offering for the Lord's work if you so desire.

Other Information about our services

The services are relayed to a TV screen in the creche at the back of the church so that anyone who needs to leave the service for any reason can still hear the sermon. There are also some toys to keep young children amused if needed.

Our Bible readings and song words are put onto the screens for people to see, but if you would like to have a book in your hands, just ask the person who welcomed you at the door and they will give you one to use.

Visitors and friends are warmly welcomed to our services and we would love you to stay afterwards for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat so we can get to know you better.
